Theme Update !!!

Nothing too crazy, but the previous banner image was such low resolution, I had to find something that looked a bit better ............ now I have.

I know I've been a bit quiet on this website, but, added the two below pages (Lotus Trilogy and my A1500) and have some further ideas too.

Revisiting the Lotus Trilogy in 2026

This has to be the best racing game franchise of the 1990s, espeically on the Commodore Amiga and Atari ST - here, I take a look at the series and after playing all three extensively this last week, I've realised that I didn't give the best game of the franchise any love back in the day, and overlooked what is probably the best game in the franchise ............. unti now.

Getting my Amiga 1500 back up and running

This has to be my favourite of the "big box" Amigas - yeah, I know the 3000, and 4000, both exist, and offer a lot more specification wise, but they're both prhibitively more expensive and considerably less reliable (in my own experience), but the A1500 (and A2000), well, they're "old Commodore", they're from a time when Commodore actually somewhat gave a shit about the Amiga, and this is why I love it.

Revisiting the PlayStation Classic Mini in 2026

So, I was a looking for something a little different play on for a change, dug out my PlayStation and discoverd it didn't work - then I remembered I still had my "Mini" PlayStation, and remembered that it was moddable to run your own choice of games, but I hadn't actually got round to doing it, so thought I'd give it a go and see if the PlayStation Classic Mini is still worthwhile playing on in 2026.

Zzap Live 2026 latest

Unfortunately, due to personal circumstances, I've pulled out of attending Zzap Live 2026 - if you are reading this and were looking forward to meeting me, I apologise for disappointing you. However, there will be more events and I will let you know what other events I will be attending.

I got myself a PicoGX for the GX4000 / CPC Plus

This is brand new, only been around for a month or two, and it's already shaping up as being the solution for playing Cartridge games on your Amstrad (GX4000 and Plus machines only) - this is a great alternative to the C4CPC which has been out of circulation for years.
